How to Recover or Change Your Twitter Password

- 2. Recovering Your Lost Password:
- 3. Go to Twitter and click “Forgot it?” underneath the login box.
- 4. Then you will be directed to https://twitter.com/account/resend_password
- 5. Enter your email address or Twitter username.
- 6. Also, there may be a captcha to prove that you are human.
- 8. If you linked your mobile number to your account, you will be asked to enter your phone number.
- 9. You will then receive an email from Twitter so you can check it out immediately.
- 10. Click the reset link in the email you received from Twitter.
- 11. Choose a new password.
- 12. You will then be directed to your homepage.
- 13. You can now login using that password.
- 15. Sign in to Twitter.
- 16. Click Settings found on the upper right hand navigation bar.
- 17. Click the Password tab.
- 18. Type in your current password.
- 19. Type in your desired new password on the New Password Box…
- 20. ….and Verify New Password box.
- 21. Click Change to save the changes.

- Type in your desired new password on the New Password and Verify New Password boxes.
- Type in your desired new password on the New Password and Verify New Password boxes.
- Click Change to save the changes.
