Mutualism occurs in the relationship between remoras and sharks, where remoras eat parasites off of sharks to keep them healthy and in return receive protection and food. Clownfish also have a mutualistic relationship with sea anemones, where the clownfish protects the anemone from fish and receives protection from its stinging tentacles. Goby fish and shrimp also engage in mutualism, with the shrimp digging a burrow for them to live in and the goby warning the shrimp of danger so they can retreat to safety.
