What does Recruit do?
The product Recruit from interviewstreet helps companies screen candidates by
inviting them to a programming test created by them. We have an in-built
codechecker that evaluates a candidate’s code for correctness and optimality and
categorizes them into ‘Extraordinary’ candidates, ‘Above average’ candidates, etc.
This makes it very easy for companies to pick the candidates for interview.
What all languages does Recruit support?
All major languages – C, C++, Java, Python, Ruby, Scala, Clojure, Haskell, C#, SQL
Can I add my own programming questions?
Yes. You’re free to use our library questions as well.

you can proceed with the interviews immediately

What if you had an interesting programming challenge
on your careers page?

Companies love the programming challenges and this acts as an additional source
of filtered programming leads from their careers page – double bonus!
13. CodeSprints
CodeSprints are programming contests that we hold every weekend. We invite
companies to endorse a CodeSprint if they’re interested. At the end of the contest,
the company can interact with the participants and hire programmers
14. CodeSprints
What does it take for a company to endorse a CodeSprint?
The company that’s endorsing a CodeSprint should be able to contribute at least
one programming problem to the contest. This not only acts as an advertising
vehicle for the company but also engages programmers to get a peak at the real-
world problems. It generally lasts between 5-8 hours
How much does it cost to endorse a CodeSprint?
We work with companies with two business models:
a. Pay-per-hire: This is a pay-per-hire model where the company pays us $10k
USD for every programmer hired through the contest. If the company
doesn’t hire anyone, they don’t pay us anything
b. Flat fee: This is an enterprise model where the company pays us $50K USD
for conducting a CodeSprint. You can hire as many programmers you want
15. CodeSprints
What are some of the past CodeSprints you’ve conducted?
We’ve conducted a lot of CodeSprints endorsed by companies in the past:
1. Quora (quora.interviewstreet.com)
2. Amazon (codeninja.interviewstreet.com)
3. Adobe (adobe.interviewstreet.com)
4. Sequoia Capital VC firm (sequoia.interviewstreet.com)
and many more..
What has been the success rate of such CodeSprints?
People all across the globe participate and it’s an easy one-stop access for
companies to pick the top talent across the globe. We’ve noticed companies
hiring a lot of engineers in just a 5-hour programming contest.
16. CodeSprints
How many programmers participate in a CodeSprint?
This varies week over week. But the average has been 550+ programmers with
the maximum being 2104 programmers
How do you advertise a CodeSprint?

solve daily. There are roughly 400-500 programmers who spend more than 90 min
on our site every day. We’ve a good base of programmers to advertise
