Vraeyda Media's Submission Guidelines for our Literary Publication Division.

1. From the earliest cultures who created gods and warriors to explain scientific phenomenon, to the ground-cracking scientists proving
through quantum mechanics and theories made of string that there is/isn’t an intelligent design, we are driven, soothed, berated and struck
dumb by our ability to spin a yarn.
All speculative fiction/ introspective non-fiction submissions must be between 500 and 10,000 words. We may
serialize a larger story. Follow the spirit of this Journal and we can do business. As part of the natural creative
process, editing will happen, but that’s not an excuse to send a first draft. Gore, erotic scenarios, & horror will be
rejected. All works submitted to Vraeyda Literary must be unreleased works. We’re gunning for exclusive first
English Language Rights. Art submissions may be sent with a 1 Page Abstract & up to 5 pieces for review. Poets
may submit up to 5 poems up to a Max of 50 lines each.
Attach your project in the format listed below:
• CANSub - AUTHOR LAST NAME - TITLE - WORD COUNT MMC2 (Canadian Authors)
• INTSub - AUTHOR LAST NAME - TITLE - WORD COUNT MMC2 (International Authors)
In your query email please answer the following questions:
• Any publications/showings author/artist has been featured in
• Author/Artist Bio: 250 Words + any awards/grants + Twitter + Blog/Website
• What is the nature of the work? + Synopsis (Under 300 words)
All literary submissions must be in the following format:
• Courier New 12 pt. Font, Double-Spaced
• Header: Author Name / Working Title / Total Word Count / Page Number
• DOC/RTF format
All visual submissions must be in the following format:
• High Res TIFF/PDF; 300 dpi
Compensation
All contributors will receive two print copies of the work, a PDF of the work and the covetous bragging rights. They
will also receive a place on the Vraeyda Literary Author/Artist Highlight Rotation for promotional purposes. If
selected, fiction & non-fiction will receive $0.01 - $0.02 per word and potential for future publication. Poetry works
will also receive $5 - $10 per poem and potential for future publication. Artists & Photographers also receive $5 -
$10 per art piece. All compensation in Canadian Dollars & electronically transferred via PayPal/Bank Draft.
