This document discusses vehicle-grid integration solutions using Kitu's approach. It summarizes: 1) Kitu enables EVs and smart inverters to interconnect securely with utility systems for demand response and other programs that incentivize workplace charging and curtailment during peaks. 2) A field experiment at UCSD tested demand response using modified EVs, chargers, and transformer management with partners like Honda and Nuvve. 3) Vehicle-to-grid technology allows bidirectional power flow, and initial results show it can provide over $300 per vehicle annually in benefits through smart charging and other algorithms.
