2. Descriptive essay :
The haunted place ;
Everybody says that the old terrified house at the end of the road is haunted. It was the residence
of a well-known family but now none of them would live there. Therefore that house is empty and
uncared . This house is overflowing with mossy and lush weed and grass.
My friend Zakiya and I decided to go there and find out what happening there what people said
was true. So once evening, we bravely excitedly entered the house and draw up to spend the night
there. We brought along a powerful torchlight, two sleeping-bags, some food, eating things drinks,
and a portable stereo set. The early part of the night was no trouble and pass peacefully at all. We
sat on our sleeping-bags and listened and enjoy our favorite music.
When twelve midnight came. We felt a bit sleepy and tired. So we switched off the stereo set and
creeped into our sleeping-bag but sleep was impossible. There appeared to be a heavy and cold
atmosphere hanging around us. The darkness was harsh, crashing and there was a strange
soft sweat noise feel from upstairs. We are too much terrified and we are not able to go up to look
over the noise. So we lay down quietly in our sleeping-bags and thought that the noise would go
away. But it’s not seemed that.
Actually it got louder and louder. Then it sounded like someone sobbing . Zakiya get out of his
sleeping bag and switched on the torchlight. We couldn’t see anything except the walls of the
empty living room where we are.
Intently there was a loud crash from upstairs and the sobs turned to cry. We cried too and ran out
of the house as fast as we could, leaving behind everything that we had took with us. The hair on
the rear of my head stood on end for hours afterwards. We never dared to go back to the house,
not even within the daytime. My uncle had to go there and get back the things we had left behind
there.
