This document contains the November program schedule for the Washington County Public Library. It lists children's, tween/teen, and adult programs happening throughout the month. Children's programs include story times for different age groups around themes like cookies, frogs, and Thanksgiving. Tween/teen programs allow ages 12-18 to watch a movie about eating worms and make pinecone turkeys. Adult programs cover local authors, Zumba, the library board meeting rules, and food safety for the holidays. The library is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-7pm, Wednesday and Friday 10am-5pm, and Saturday 9am-1pm, with everything closing for Thanksgiving.

MEETING

The Washington County Public Library Board of Trustees abides by the open meeting laws of the
Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Open Meetings Act provides members of the public the
statutory right to attend all public meetings and to observe and listen to what transpires at those
meeting. It does not grant those persons the right to participate in the meeting nor address the
members of the Board during the meeting.
The Washington County Public Library Board of Trustees will allow one to address the Board
with two provisions.
•The person must notify the Library Director in advance to be included on the Agenda.
•The person must limit their address to two minutes.
