Gal 2:9 And when James, Cephas, and
John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived
the grace that was given unto me, they gave
to me and Barnabas the right hands of
fellowship; that we should go unto the
heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
Purpose of writing:
1John 1:4 And these things write we unto
you, that your joy may be full.

1John 2:1 My little children, these things
write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any
man sin, we have an advocate with the
Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1John 5:13 These things have I written
unto you that believe on the name of the
Son of God; that ye may know that ye
have eternal life, and that ye may believe
on the name of the Son of God.
Perseverance of the Saints:
1John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and
there is a sin not unto death.
1John 5:16 If any man see his brother
sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall
ask, and he shall give him life for them
that sin not unto death. There is a sin
unto death: I do not say that he shall
pray for it.

1John 5:18 We know that whosoever is
born of God sinneth not; but he that is
begotten of God keepeth himself, and that
wicked one toucheth him not.

1That which was from the beginning, which we
have heard, which we have seen with our eyes,
which we have looked upon, and our hands
have handled, of the Word of life;
Note the neuter (“which”) for Jesus
Christ.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the
heaven and the earth.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.
1John 1:1 That which was from the
beginning, which we have heard, which we
have seen with our eyes, which we have looked

John did not say “who” was from the
beginning, John says “THAT which” so
as to give you to the interpretation of 1
Corinthians 13:10.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness
with our spirit, that we are the children of
God:

be called the Son of God.
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between

A Christians duty to be part of a Church:
Ps 132:7 We will go into his
tabernacles: we will worship at his

1 John 3- Nature of Sin and offence of Sin
John is now using the singular “SIN.”
It is no longer a reference to your
nature like John 1:29 or 1 John 1:8.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth
Jesus coming unto him, and saith,
Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh
away the sin of the world.
1John 1:8 If we say that we have no
sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth
is not in us.
After defining “sin” (singular as ANY
transgression of the Mosaic Law (1John
3:4),
1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth
sin transgresseth also the law: for sin
is the transgression of the law.
We are now told there is A SIN (not
your nature) “unto death” (1 John
5:16).

This defines the timeline as being near
the end of the Tribulation.

Heb 3:6 But Christ as a son over his

hold fast the confidence and the
rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of
Christ, if we hold the beginning of our
confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb 6:8 But that which beareth thorns
and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto
cursing; whose end is to be burned.
1John 3:1-2- Sons of God
1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath
bestowed upon us, that we should be called the
sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us
not, because it knew him not.
2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it
doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we
know that, when he shall appear, we shall be
like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1. Christ could have showed up as the
woman’s seed BEFORE the flood of
Genesis 6, for Enoch was preaching “the
Lord cometh with ten thousands of his

saints” (Jude 14). But He never showed
up!
Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh
from Adam, prophesied of these, saying,
Behold, the Lord cometh with ten
thousands of his saints,
2. This is why “the days of Noe” have to
appear again (Matt. 24:37).
Matt 24:37 But as the days of Noe
were, so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be.
3. The “sons of God” in Genesis 6 were
angels (Job 38), so the “days of Noah”
are given as the days of fallen angels in
2 Peter 2:4.
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the
daughters of men that they were fair;

and they took them wives of all which
they chose.
Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the
day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall
be opened, and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.
Job 38:6-7 6 Whereupon are the
foundations thereof fastened? or who
laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When
the morning stars sang together, and all
the sons of God shouted for joy?
2Pet 2:4 For if God spared not the
angels that sinned, but cast them down
to hell, and delivered them into chains of
darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

4. These fallen angels will be judged by
“the sons of God” (1 Cor. 6:3). But those
“sons” are here, now, in the Church Age.
1Cor 6:3 Know ye not that we shall
judge angels? how much more things
that pertain to this life?
5. Because in the resurrection, the
Church-Age “sons of God” will be “as
the ANGELS...in heaven” (Matt. 22:30).
Matt 22:30 For in the resurrection they
neither marry, nor are given in marriage,
but are as the angels of God in heaven.
6. Which means the Body of Christ is
composed of the replacements for “the
sons of God” in Genesis 6.

1John 3:6- seeing God
6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:
whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither
known him.
Someone had a chance to SEE God
(Heb. 9:28; 12:14; Matt. 24:50) and did
NOT see Him.

that look for him shall he appear the

1John 3:7- deception
7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that
doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is
righteous.
You would commit the sin of “breaking
THE LAW” as given in Exodus 20:3
Exod 20:3 Thou shalt have no other
gods before me.
when you took an OATH to serve the
“son of perdition” as “GOD” (2 Thess.
2:3–12; Dan. 11:36–38).
2Thess 2:9-11 9 Even him, whose coming
is after the working of Satan with all power
and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish; because
they received not the love of the truth, that
they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them
strong delusion, that they should believe a
lie:
Dan 11:36-38 36 And the king shall do
according to his will; and he shall exalt
himself, and magnify himself above every
god, and shall speak marvellous things
against the God of gods, and shall prosper
till the indignation be accomplished: for that
that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his
fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard
any god: for he shall magnify himself above
all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God
of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew
not shall he honour with gold, and silver,

and with precious stones, and pleasant
things.
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works
a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Matt 24:13 But he that shall endure
unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Heb 6:1-6 1 Therefore leaving the
principles of the doctrine of Christ, let
us go on unto perfection; not laying
again the foundation of repentance from
dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of
laying on of hands, and of resurrection
of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
4 For it is impossible for those who
were once enlightened, and have tasted

of the heavenly gift, and were made
partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of
God, and the powers of the world to
come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them
again unto repentance; seeing they
crucify to themselves the Son of God
afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after
that we have received the knowledge of
the truth, there remaineth no more
sacrifice for sins,
That would define what “committing
SIN” would be in the Tribulation,
and with it would go your attitude and
treatment of JEWS who refuse to take
the mark or the oath (Matt. 25; James
5:12).

Jas 5:12 But above all things, my
brethren, swear not, neither by heaven,
neither by the earth, neither by any other
oath: but let your yea be yea; and your
nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
James’ last warning in his last chapter to
the twelve tribes:
John’s last warning in the last verse of
his first epistle.
1John 5:21 Little children, keep
yourselves from idols. Amen.

Idols and oaths. “SIN” and
“transgression of the law.”
The Law said- no IDOLS (first and
second Commandments) and
no false oaths (ninth Commandment).
The “SIN” committed in the Tribulation
is spoken of in the SINGULAR (1 John
3:8–9; 5:16),
1John 3:8-9 8 He that committeth sin
is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from
the beginning. For this purpose the Son
of God was manifested, that he might
destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not
commit sin; for his seed remaineth in
him: and he cannot sin, because he is
born of God.

pray for it.
and the context of 1John 3:9 is the
original prototype of “the son of
perdition” (Cain).
1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God

1John 3:15- rich/poor, love/hate
15Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:
and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life
abiding in him.

A single murder has many victims not
only the intended target but also all
those connected with the deceased.
Matthew 25:40.
The “brothers” there are Jesus Christ’s
“brethren.”
Matt 25:40 And the King shall answer
and say unto them, Verily I say unto
you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto
one of the least of these my brethren, ye
have done it unto me.
In the Tribulation, Gentiles go to Hell on
the basis of their love or hatred for
THOSE “BRETHREN.”
James 1:9–11, 27; 2:5–7.
Jas 1:9-11 9 Let the brother of low
degree rejoice in that he is exalted: 10
But the rich, in that he is made low:

because as the flower of the grass he
shall pass away.
11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a
burning heat, but it withereth the grass,
and the flower thereof falleth, and the
grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so
also shall the rich man fade away in
his ways.
Jas 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled
before God and the Father is this, To
visit the fatherless and widows in their
affliction, and to keep himself unspotted
from the world.
Jas 2:5-7 5 Hearken, my beloved
brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor
of this world rich in faith, and heirs of
the kingdom which he hath promised to
them that love him?

6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not
rich men oppress you, and draw you
before the judgment seats?
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy
name by the which ye are called?
Rich people hate the saved Jews (James
5:1–6),
Jas 5:1-6 1 Go to now, ye rich men,
weep and howl for your miseries that
shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your
garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and
the rust of them shall be a witness
against you, and shall eat your flesh as it
were fire. Ye have heaped treasure
together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who
have reaped down your fields, which is

of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and
the cries of them which have reaped are
entered into the ears of the Lord of
sabaoth.
5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth,
and been wanton; ye have nourished
your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6 Ye have condemned and killed the
just; and he doth not resist you.
and if the rich are “Christian” Gentiles
they will not want to HELP them out
(James 2:14–16)
Jas 2:14-16 14 What doth it profit,
my brethren, though a man say he hath
faith, and have not works? can faith save
him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and
destitute of daily food,

16 And one of you say unto them,
Depart in peace, be ye warmed and
filled; notwithstanding ye give them not
those things which are needful to the
body; what doth it profit?
because of the “son of perdition” (Rev.
13:6–18)
Rev 13:6-18 6 And he opened his
mouth in blasphemy against God, to
blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle,
and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make
war with the saints, and to overcome
them: and power was given him over all
kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall
worship him, whose names are not
written in the book of life of the Lamb
slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10 He that leadeth into captivity shall
go into captivity: he that killeth with the
sword must be killed with the sword.
Here is the patience and the faith of the
saints.
11 And I beheld another beast coming
up out of the earth; and he had two
horns like a lamb, and he spake as a
dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of
the first beast before him, and causeth
the earth and them which dwell therein
to worship the first beast, whose deadly
wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that
he maketh fire come down from heaven
on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on
the earth by the means of those miracles
which he had power to do in the sight of
the beast; saying to them that dwell on
the earth, that they should make an

image to the beast, which had the wound
by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto
the image of the beast, that the image of
the beast should both speak, and cause
that as many as would not worship the
image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and
great, rich and poor, free and bond, to
receive a mark in their right hand, or in
their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell,
save he that had the mark, or the
name of the beast, or the number of
his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath
understanding count the number of the
beast: for it is the number of a man; and
his number is Six hundred threescore
and six.

who is busy killing the Jews (Rev.
12:13).
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw
that he was cast unto the earth, he
persecuted the woman which brought
forth the man child.
Not one of Christ’s “brethren” in
Matthew 25 is a saved Gentile. They are
His flesh-and-blood “brethren” as in
Matthew 23:8-10. If they were His
brethren spiritually (as in Luke 11:27–28
and Matt. 12:46–50)
Luke 11:27-28 27 And it came to
pass, as he spake these things, a certain
woman of the company lifted up her
voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the
womb that bare thee, and the paps which
thou hast sucked.

28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are
they that hear the word of God, and keep
it.
Matt 12:46-50 46 While he yet
talked to the people, behold, his mother
and his brethren stood without,
desiring to speak with him. 47 Then one
said unto him, Behold, thy mother and
thy brethren stand without, desiring to
speak with thee. 48 But he answered
and said unto him that told him, Who is
my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand
toward his disciples, and said, Behold
my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of
my Father which is in heaven, the same
is my brother, and sister, and mother.

none of them were born again, none of
them were “in Him,” none of them were
spiritually circumcised, nor were any of
them “redeemed” (see Heb. 9:12; Col.
1:14).
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats
and calves, but by his own blood he
entered in once into the holy place,
having obtained eternal redemption for
us.
Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption
through his blood, even the forgiveness
of sins:
You are to lay down your life for the
“brethren”.
You are to “lay down your life” (1 John
3:16), in the Tribulation, to protect or to
help a Jewish believer.

1John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the
love of God, because he laid down his
life for us: and we ought to lay down
our lives for the brethren.
American Christians don’t have to “love”
like this yet (John 13:34); but thousands
of Christians have
John 13:34 A new commandment I
give unto you, That ye love one another;
as I have loved you, that ye also love
one another.
1 John 3:16 illustrates how we should
approach real “love.”
1John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the
love of God, because he laid down his
life for us: and we ought to lay down
our lives for the brethren.

War is not murder there will be a
righteous guerilla army in the
Tribulation.
Dan 11:32 And such as do wickedly
against the covenant shall he corrupt by
flatteries: but the people that do know
their God shall be strong, and do
exploits.
In Tribulation Theology:
the new nature in the believer cannot sin,
the old nature can and,
in the case of the “sin unto death” (1 John
5:16),
1John 5:16 If any man see his brother sin
a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask,
and he shall give him life for them that sin

not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I
do not say that he shall pray for it.
accompanied by IDOLATRY (1 John

1John 5:21 Little children, keep

and an OATH (James 5:12; Matt. 5:34),
Matt 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear
not at all; neither by heaven; for it is
God's throne:
the Holy Spirit can LEAVE the body of the
“born again” believer.

The-
“abiding” of the “anointing”
(and life and light and the “seed”)
is conditioned on COMMANDMENTS (Rev.
12:17; 14:12; 1 John 5:3, 2:4, 22–24, 29,
3:4 , 6–7, 24).
1John 2:22-24 22 Who is a liar but he
that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is
antichrist, that denieth the Father and the
Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the
same hath not the Father: (but) he that
acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye
have heard from the beginning. If that which
ye have heard from the beginning shall
remain in you, ye also shall continue in the
Son, and in the Father.
