Time management
 High school is about learning time management.
 Class time is just the beginning.
 Multi-tasking: You’re not as good at it as you think!
 Audit your time and honestly assess the effect of
your time spent texting, posting, etc.
 Change the behavior and learn good habits now!

Bullying & Harassment
 Online bullying is bullying. Online harassment is




harassment.
Key difference: IT STAYS OUT THERE FOREVER.
Post after post = persistent problem, which takes
it from harassment to bullying!
If you don’t want it read back verbally in front of
your mom or dad, don’t post it!

 Your teenage life is being recorded: Every post,
every party, every gripe, every thought: preserved
forever, and nothing is private!
 No need for resumes any more – colleges &
employers have your digital reputation.
 It’s not all bad news:
▪ Build a positive digital footprint.
▪ Networking is easier with social media.
