2. • FilmFour and Metrodome are two distributors
that may be interested in distributing my
media product. These companies are both UK
distributors and could be interested in my
media product as it is a film made in the UK
and by a British company.

3. • There are many ways in which my media
product could be exhibited but some are
better than others. One method which could
be used in cinemas is digital projection as it
has been filmed in digital. This is more
convenient and more cost effective than
showing it on celluloid for which large and
bulky copies would have to be made and
transported.

4. • My film could also be viewed over the internet
on websites such as Netflix and LOVEFiLM,
also on television channels and DVD. By
exhibiting my film in these way it allows the
audience to view the film at home. This could
attract a different type of audience to those
who attend the cinema.

5. • Shifty is a UK film directed by Eran Creevy and
distributed by Metrodome via the Microwave
scheme. On 24th April the film was released
with 51 prints and after three weeks had been
reduced to 12 prints across the country. My
film would be distributed digitally. Shifty can
also be viewed on Netflix and LOVEFiLM and
can be bought on DVD. My media product
could also be released on Netflix, LOVEFiLM
and DVD.
