OSM goes indoors in SNCF train stations The document discusses how OpenStreetMap (OSM) data has been mapped indoors for 388 SNCF train stations in Paris up to 8 levels deep. Architectural plans and 360 degree photos were used to precisely map stations down to 10cm accuracy. Tools like OpenLevelUp were created to help view and edit the complex indoor data. The work is part of converging projects to map more indoor spaces like universities, museums, offices and shopping malls using OSM.
