Product Testing
WOM R&D department performed the Frac Valve test using its calibrated ½” drive, 0-250 FT LBS
range, dial indicated torque wrench. During the validation test, WOM used four different stages
of pressure as followed:
• First test: 140 FT LBS
• Second test: 115 FT LBS
• Third test: 100 FT LBS
• Fourth test: 100 FT LBS

The Magnum Gate Valve set the industry standard, so naturally we had to follow suit. Inspired
its unique and reliable design, WOM developed the Frac Valve with Torque Reducer, which
introduces a new concept ball screw mechanism to reduce torque by more than 70% for gate
valves up to 20,000 PSI.
