The group developed their own script for Little Red Riding Hood by first researching existing scripts of the fairy tale. They used parts of the original story that they were familiar with but wanted to ensure they did not simply copy another script. Their resulting script incorporated elements from the original to maintain familiarity for the audience while also making some changes, such as replacing the wolf with a witch and changing Little Red Riding Hood's cloak to a dress.
2. WEEK 3
0 At this stage of our pre production, my group members and I were very
particular about our script. We decided to research some already existing
little red ridding hood scripts and subsequently develop our ideas and concept
from this script.
However, we wanted to ensure that we do not mimic or follow this script; this is
why we developed our own.
Please note: that this script was only a guide for us, to ensure that
we all had appropriate knowledge of the original fairy-tale little red
ridding hood.
Also, the cropped sections of the script which you are about to move
onto are bits of the story which my group members and I knew and
thought would come in handy while producing our very own script.
10. After the making of our script we found out that we had achieved our set out goal; which was to incorporate the
original script with ours to ensure some shared understanding with our target audience’s knowledge of the fairy-
tale despite the fact that it is a modification.
Some similarities with the original script and our modification:

11. Despite all of these similarities, we also made some changes, changes which affected characters
as well as props. For instance “Wolf was changed to “Witch” reasons have been explained
earlier in my blogging.
We also changed little red ridding hood’s cloak into a dress
