2. What was the book about
Violet and Mabel’s aunt is getting married and they are
going to the mall. Mabel has planned the whole
wedding but can she convince her sister to use her
magic to save the wedding?

3. How did I feel about the book?
I enjoyed the book because it had some magic parts in it
for an e.g. Violet pointed, first at her dress, and then
Mabel’s. A current ran through them. They made a
crackling sound like paper. Bright colours flowed over
their surface. Mabel looked down at her dress. It was
no longer dark blue.
It was a fantastic book because it had a lot of action.

4. What was my favourite part
My favourite part was chapter nine because it is when
Mabel and Violet make the wedding cake.

5. What was the main theme?
Magic comes in many ways and it can be a good or a bad
thing. Most of the time, Violets magic hurts
Mabel, but sometimes it comes in handy.
The story is about their aunt getting married.

6. Give a recommendation
I would recommend it to Rochelle Cole because it
is magic and mythical.

7. Have I read anything similar
I have read “Mabel On the Move” that I would like to
recommend it to Codie and Rochelle as well

8. What did I think of the characters?
My favourite character was Mabel because she is calm
and peaceful. Mabel is 8 years old and always helpful
and Violet is 5 years old and is a handful of trouble.

9. Describe the setting of the book
The setting of the book was at the mall. They went to
two wedding shops. One was a dress shop, next was a
cake shop.

10. Did the story have a good ending
I loved the stories ending because it was so romantic
