4. Triggering event of 2005 riot On 27 Oct 2005, a group of teenagers running away from police as they think that they had been chased after. Police stated that they had been called in to investigate on break-in and not really after them. 3 teenagers hid in a power substation which resulted 2 being electrocuted and 1 being hospitalized from electro shock.
