Presented at Pecha Kucha Singapore #6: 20 slides, 20 seconds each
A light hearted look at how "unofficial" channels for dating are being used on social media and how Instagram in particular is a great place to meet people:
1) Most content is original, as opposed to Twitter where lots is retweeted or "reported" (e.g. sharing links)
2) You can curate people you're following into obvious interest groups such as food, sexy, interesting life... where these groups intersect is where you'll find people you like.
3) Check out http://uberflirt.com a little project I made that tells you who is stalking you on Instagram and who YOU are stalking. heh.

8. “It's great for the superficial
assholes like me for whom stuff
like personal style and cultural
tastes are important. If you
consistently take shitty, boring or
dumb photos, I will never date
you and will probably unfollow
you and de-friend you from
Facebook too.”
