I have currently working on my advisor’s project to obtain recombinant protein from recombinant plasmid-based pre-membrane/envelope gene (pPICZαA/prM-E) of DENV-2 Cosmopolitan genotype strain as a dengue vaccine candidate. The protein expression of the recombinant plasmid will be analyzed using SDS-PAGE and western blotting. The protein will be used for monovalent evaluation in mice to determine level of immunogenicity and its ability to induce dengue-specific immune response.
