  4. 4. Personal GROWTH and Effectiveness requires acting in a CERTAIN WAY
  5. 5. • Understand that the MAJOR KEY to your growth is YOU. • Learn to act in a CERTAIN WAY: This is determined by your CORE VALUES • Core Values Exercise (Write Down At Least 10) • Determine what’s most important to you and align your day-to-day life and work with your core values • Identify your gifts and talents and find the best way to use them • Get out of your way and take action • Develop confidence in yourself and inspire the confidence of others
  6. 6. The Path to RENEWAL. The quality of your life cannot be better than the quality of your thought.
  7. 7. • Abundant thinking: as a man thinks in his heart so is he. • Determine to be a person who make things happen and eventually happen to things (not the one things happen to) • Grow up for influence: Be a body of knowledge. • Stop assuming and ASK questions; when you ask, ask the right questions.
  8. 8. The Path to Success. SUCCESS is something you attract, it is not something you pursue; success is looking for a good place to stay, so instead of finding success, work on YOURSELF.
  9. 9. • A successful person is hardworking, responsible and focused. • Know that it is SALES that drives EVERYTHING in this world. So for you to succeed, you must be able to sell YOU. • Efficiency is not enough. Effectiveness matters a great deal. • Effective Networking • Networking Exercise (Meet at least 3 people in your class in 90 seconds)
  10. 10. Successful Selling. However good your product is don’t expect people to fall on their selves to buy your product. You have to be PROACTIVE knowing that there are so many things calling for people's attention.
  11. 11. • Personal Branding & Strategic Selling. • GOODS ARE SOLD AND NOT BOUGHT; you will not do better than your ability to sell you. Jesus said HE WHO ASKS RECEIVES.
  12. 12. • EXPECT the best ALWAYS • Engage in POSITIVE SELF TALK • DO what successful people do. • ASK QUESTIONS from the top performers in your field. • WRITE your goals, plans, thoughts and personal profile. • ‘GIVE UP’ your whole BLAME LIST (stop blaming policies, negative relatives, government, etc.) • KNOW that you can’t change circumstances but you can change yourself. • TAKE full responsibility for your life • MAJOR on what’s important. • MAKE rest a necessity not an objective. The objective of life is not to rest, the objective of life is to act. • INVEST in your ability to ACT. When an idea is hot and the emotion is strong, that’s when to act. Engage in ‘ACTION IMMEDIATE’ to avoid the ‘LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURN’.
