1. MOVIE COMMENTARY
Hi and a very good morning to my respectable lecturer Miss Wani and my fellow friends.
Today I would like to do a movie commentary . The movie that I have watched is Home Alone
3. The movie was published in year 1993. Home Alone 3 is an American family comedy film. It
is written and produced by John Hughes. First of all , I would like to give an overview about this
movie. This movie is about 4 robbers who are wanted criminals working for a North Korean
terrorist group, have stolen a US$10 million computer chip. And unluckily, the chip was at Alex.
Alex is a little boy who discover that he has chickenpox, and therefore must stay out of school
and need to stay home. His neighbor , Mrs Hess was given him a car control. Unfortunately , the
chip was placed in his car control .Before the car control is given to Alex ,the car toy’s plastic
was exchanged with Alex neighbor, Mrs Hess with the criminal in the airport So , this tragedy
happen when the 4 robbers try to find back the chip.
There are some reasons why I love this movie. Firsty , the movie shows the brave value.
This brave value that has in the main character which is Alex Pruitt. He is a brave boy who is
left home alone and has to defend his home from robbers He is willing to protect his house and
himself from dangerous by himself –alone. Even though his parents and siblings are busy to
settle down their own business . He , brave to manage himself from dangerous situation that has
been created by the robbers. Based on the value , we can reflect it to our real life where we need
to face the hardship that we go through in daily life bravely so that we will not conquered by the
fear in ourself. For example , as a student , we need to brave to go for hardship that we go
through in our Universities life.
The second reasons why I love this movie because ,the main character is very clever and
make preparations for facing the challenges. The main character , Alex is a clever boy. He
managed to prepare “weapons” to defense himself and protect the chips from being stolen by the
robbers. The weapons here means that strategies. For example in this movie, Alex prepared the
trampoline that gives way to fall into a frozen pool in order to catch the robbers. Based on the
value , we can reflect to our life where we need to be clever and make an early preparation in
facing the challenges that we might go through. For example , as a student , we must make a

2. study preparation before the examination day so that we will success with flying colours like
what Alex have done .
The next reasons why I love this movie is because this movie shows a responsible value.
For example , in this movie , Alex shows his responsibilities by informing the local Air Force
Recruitment Centre about the chip that he have found. Its shows that Alex is not secreting the
chips that he found perhaps he told the Air Force Recruitment Centre to inform about it. To
reflect in our daily life , we must show responsibility towards ourself and others. For example , if
we find people’s money which is dropping on the floor , we must help to inform her by saying
that her money is dropping and not to take for granted.
