Quote by Marianne Williamson “ The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.” I had a bad experience in the office when I was a newbie, some people tried to put me down. And it really hurts that everything became so complicated to the point that my Boss shouted at me and cursed me, and after that she even sent a memo to my agency saying that I am the one with a bad behavior. I tried to transfer to another department so I applied in a position that was announced, but my Boss is trying to impede my transfer, despite the fact that I was chosen out of 33 applicants for the position. In spite of this, I am really trying my best to forgive her for all her actions and to move on.

My experience here made me realize a lot of things. It also brought out the inner strength that I never thought I had. Until now, I still experience harshness from my Boss. I realized that when you know that you’re not doing anything wrong and you do your work, you shouldn’t be afraid of people who uses their power to manipulate others. I believe that prayer really works. Sometimes I get exhausted, but I just keep on praying that one day my request for transfer will be granted.

She inspires me to be a better person and to hang on. This experience made me realize that there are innocent people who really get prosecuted. That some people will use their power to ruin another person’s life. But I really want to make a difference that’s why I try to stay and keep my values intact. If all government employees will be like my Boss, our administration is doomed.

Sometimes, it boosts my spirit, but there are times that it makes me feel sad because my Boss will create stories. I try to stick to my values and principles and the fact that I know I did nothing wrong. I believe that God will protect me and guide me to the right path.
