Rejoice, dear to the Lord, brothers and sisters, the employees in the field of God!
A child is born to us! A son is given to us!
And he will be our ruler. He will be called,
“Wonderful Counsellor”, “Mighty God”,
“Eternal Father”, “Prince of Peace”. (Isaiah 9:6)
Dear friends, many of us on the eve of Christmas
and New Year holidays are reflecting on our future. At
this time, we usually consider our living through, build
new plans and look for new perspectives. We are
glorifying the born Savior for the fact that through His
grace we can look with confidence and without fearin the
future, because tomorrow is in His hands.
Let our Merciful Father cover you with His wings
and save among the life-giving burrows and the thunderstorms that roar around. On these Christmas days, we
wish you a renewal and strengthening of faith, love, hope and fulfillment with the deep peace of God!

On 1 December, there was the meeting ofthe leaders of the Bible mission groups “Ministry to the
Blind”. The Mission's volunteers have been attending training seminars for several years on the eve of the
International Day of the Disabled. This time more than 40 servants from different regions ofUkraine arrived
in Kyiv, and many of them were blind people.
The speaker of the conference, a pastor Alexander Oryschin, opened the topic: “The motive of our
ministry to God.” He reminded us all that the true motivation of Christian service should be the constant
awareness and assertion in our lives of the basic truths: “Who am I in Christ?”, “What did God do for my
salvation?”, “What is my nature in Christ?”, and proceeding from this, “To whom and for what do I serve?”
The participants of the conference talked about the blessings and difficulties encountered in the way of
following the Lord, shared their experience with the “newcomers”, supported and comforted those who needed
it. Most of the ministers have been friends for many years. They are constantly communicating, praying for one
another, and therefore especially rejoice when they can see each other during such meetings. The Lord made us
dears and nears in spite ofbeing completely different in age, character, social status and He united us for
a special purpose – to proclaim Good News. We express our great gratitude to all the Friends of the Mission,
thanks to their sacrificial participation there was this meeting, and many other projects of “The Ministry to the
Blind”. Thank you for being with us! We will be glad to work together for the sake of His glory next year, saving
the Blind of Ukraine with the Word of Gospel.
