Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions - one of the UK's leading utility solutions
providers, commissioned Azea to design and implement an evaluation of its rescue procedures
in a real, live situation.
The main objectives included testing the quality of emergency procedures and the evaluation of
job roles on site, from maintenance staff to project managers.

3. About the Project:
Behavioural Workshops (3 month package, split into 5
workshops within a week delivered to over 400 employees).
As part of our 'Selling Safe-T' project, our client
commissioned us to design and deliver a project that would
enable employees to think like a team and challenge unsafe
acts or requests to prevent major accidents occurring in the
future.
This ended in an informative and fun debate in a court room
scenario, where all employees accepted that they were the
ultimate decision makers. We achieved an 91% 'Excellent'
feedback from all employees on how effective this training
module had been.

4. Project Challenges:
Azea designed a programme that had to deal with the ‘it will
never change around here’ attitude that existed in some areas
of the business.
Whilst most employees were already working correctly, the
company wanted to make sure that all employees adhered to a
base line minimum standard of behaviour.
