Fun for a Change is a social innovation competition that engages youth in coming up with fun and engaging ways to create positive change. Enter the global competition or organize a challenge at your own school.
2. Fun for a Change is a global competition
designed to introduce students to the fun side
of social innovation.
Teams compete in using “fun” as well as “game
dynamics” to bring about positive change.
Along the way, they engage one another in
challenges, learn best practices in social
entrepreneurship and game design, and
innovate new solutions.

human behavior.

people to “do the right thing.”
4. It’s more fun.

11. Benefits of Fun for a Change
It’s easy.
For most students, this is a better introduction to social innovation than social
business plan competitions. You don’t need to start a business or non-pro t.
It’s new.
We are just beginning to understand the power of game dynamics.
This offers a great opportunity to experiment with them.
It completes the picture.
Students gain a more accurate view of how to effect change - through a
combination of products + processes.
It’s fun (for a change).
By making social change fun, we make it more appealing...
and more infectious.
