4. Constructing a Data
Pyramid
• Read the definitions and types of data including
examples on Handout H5.2
• Construct a pyramid on the chart paper that represents
the relative time and attention currently given to each of
the 5 types of data in your school (Weekly, quarterly,
annually, never)
• Write the name of each of the 5 types of data in the most
appropriate layer with the widest part of the pyramid
representing where you spend the greatest amount of
time…the top the least.
• Read Handout H5.3 silently
