3. “ Dun {upp |ammit Brighella” Hamrun Boys’ Junior Lyceum hosts about 1400 students. The students enter the lyceum after that they pass from a ‘Junior Lycuem’ entry exam. The ages of the students that frequent this school is between 11 and 16years.
4. Students between 11 and 12 years old are in form 1 classes. There are about 11 form 1 classes. Students at this level study Maltese, English, (another foreign language that they choose e.g. Italian, French, Spanish, German, Arabic) Maths Science, Geography, History, Social Studies Physical Education, Personal and Social Development, Religion Art / Music Computer studies
5. Students aged between 12 and 13 are in form 2 level. There are about 11 form 2 classes. Students continue studying the same subjects as form 1.
6. A year later, students enter the form 3 level when they choose to learn Biology / Chemistry / Art / ICT / Geography / History / Graphical Communications / Home Economics etc. . . And / or another language (Italian, French, Spanish, German, Arabic)
7. The students continue studying Maltese, English, Maths Physical Education, Personal and Social Development, Religion Computer studies Physics. After this year, students proceed to form 4 and 5 and they continue studying the subjects that they chose at form 3.
8. The time table: Times of lessons from Monday till Friday. The missing times are breaks.
