• The disadvantage of notability is how easy the
students can cheat. They can send each other
an email and they can change the font and
color
• The advantage is its easy to take notes and it
keeps the student organized

• Pages is an app like notability but instead of
taking notes you use it to write research
papers.
• The disadvantage of pages is unlike notability
it does not keep the student organized.
• The advantage is its an easy way to write a
paper for example if you write in MLA format
you press a button and everything you type is
in MLA format.

• Plague is a game and I used while teaching about
viruses to my 6th grade science class. Plague is a
game where you make a virus and try to stop
people from making a cure and you make it
stronger and you have to destroy humanity to
win.
• Disadvantage it’s a game.
• Advantage easy way to show how deadly a virus
can be and it has information dealing with cure,
symproms, and treatment.

5. Itunes U
• Itunes u is a course manager where the
teacher can post lesson plans, discussion,
announcement, and assignments.
• Disadvantage is it must be in PDF form, which
is not always compatible.
• Advantage easy way to check/put on your
lesson plans, and a great way to communicate
information to the students.

• Quizlet is like a flashcard app where you
prepare for really big test
• Disadvantage you can take somebody elses set
and make it yours
• Advantage a great way to study for a test

• Keynote is a great way to make a powerpoint .
• The disadvantages as it sometimes buffers and
did not always play as needed on the elmo.
• The advantage is how easy it is to make a
powerpoint.

• Socrative is a app for taking quizzes as it is a
great and simple way to take one
• Disadvantage can be time consuming for the
teacher to load the questions.
• Advantage easy way to grade a quiz with
immediate feedback.

• An easy way to make a commercial/movie
trailor for the classroom
• Disadvantage is it doesn’t help learning
• Advantage great project for the kids

• Kahoot is a great way to study in the
classroom for the students as it is a game
which captures the interest of the students.
• There is no real disadvantage.
• Advantage as it’s a great fun way to study in
the classroom

• Just a simple dictionary is a great way to find
words in the classroom.
• The disadvantage is if the student plays the
voice one and it disturbs the classroom.
• Advantage is how easy a student can find the
meaning of a word.
