Denis Poncelet, MBA, is an independent Paris based consultant in areas related to Packaging and Printing technologies. He is
currently President Advisor for DCMgroup, a world leader in converting equipment manufacturing with specialities of narrow
web gravure, bags, slitters and sleeves equipments. During the last 8 years he was MD for Janoschkagroup, the European
leader of all Prepress technologies (Rotogravure, Flexo, Screen and Offset), a German family-owned group of 30 subsidiaries
in 15 countries in Europe, Asia, and South America, with a turnover of 130 MM€. He has more than 20 years experience in
multinational printing including converting groups such as AMCOR, and BEMIS. His first 10 years were spent as an engineer
in leading manufacturing companies in the automotive and building sectors at SAINT GOBAIN and VALEO. This background
drives his very pragmatic approach towards industrialization of innovative demanding technologies. He is also currently
working in research & teaching, at the prestigious University of NANTERRE (Paris-X) as associate teacher and at the ISC
Paris School of Management as a tutor within the MBA program. His field of expertise is international management in the fast
growing digital sector of technologies for design-to-print applications. Born in France, with English family roots and a Spanish
wife, he has enjoyed 25 years of living outside his native country, which has fostered a natural talent for implementing
successful partnerships across cultural differences.
