  2. Brand Awareness, Loyalty Are Top Content Marketing Goals. There are a number of reasons why marketers are adopting content marketing strategies. Marketers most widely cite brand awareness (78%), customer retention (69%), customer recruitment (61%.
  3. Social media (excluding blogs) and article posting are the most popular tactics and are currently used by 79% and 78% of B2B marketers, respectively (Figure 1). Beyond our top two, B2B marketers report relatively high adoption of in-person events (63%), eNewsletters (61%), case studies (55%) and blogs (51%).
