An evaluation of a web-based  learning program using: ,[object Object],and ,[object Object],David Norris and Michael Stewart IDT 700
An evaluation of the:  Health Insurance Portability and  Accountability Act (HPIAA)  online training program using the Brinkerhoff Success Case Method  training evaluation model. http://www.goer.state.ny.us/Training_Development/Online_Learning/HIP/100.html
The Business Scenario:  ,[object Object],   training overview ,[object Object],   Protected Health Information (PHI)    of the rules and regulations as well    as the consequences of violations    to HIPAA
The Training Scenario: ,[object Object],   module for individuals to complete    their annual HIPAA compliance training ,[object Object],   the module for learner comprehension    and also a summary review at the end    of the module ,[object Object],   of completion to keep on record as    proof of their completion of the    compliance training
The Success Case Design: ,[object Object],   date with a goal of 100% compliance ,[object Object],   the summary review that must be    achieved to receive their certificate    of completion
Key Findings: ,[object Object],   without consequence ,[object Object],   addition but minimal and ineffective ,[object Object],   could easily become bored and possibly    indifferent with the training ,[object Object],   of compliance training
Key Findings: (continued) ,[object Object],   for the entire piece ,[object Object],   still receive their certificate of completion
Conclusions:  ,[object Object],   further in the area of interactivity and     learner involvement ,[object Object],   scenarios that the learn can relate to ,[object Object],   learning throughout the training ,[object Object],   the summary review with a minimal     passing score ,[object Object],   to increase overall comprehension
Results:  ,[object Object],   met, the training needs improvement to    ensure comprehension and     understanding of the severity of     consequences if the content is not     practiced ,[object Object],   items such as quarterly updates and a     form of current events with headlines of     HIPAA violations to keep learners aware     and compliant
