The motive for the advertisement is to show M&M is being fun.
The main image on the advertisement is a keyboard. This has been chosen because
teenager is always on computers using a keyboard. The image has connotations of
being part of a computer and being up to date. This would attract the target audience
because teenagers are always on computers using to communicate with there friends.
The camera distance used in the advertisement is a high angle. This camera distance
has been used because you can see the whole image .The camera angle used in the
advertisement is a bird’s eye view. This has been chosen because you can see the
whole image.
The typeface used in the advertisement is fancy. This has been used because it will
catch the eye and the audience.
In the advertisement there are no main colours as every colour has been used. The
colours have connotations of appealing to everyone. The choice of colours would
attract the target audience because everyone has a favourite colour.
The logo used in the advertisement is M&M .This is successful because it known
around the world It would attract the target audience because it bold and bright
The slogan used for the product is “communication just got sweeter”. This is effective
because the sweeter reveres to the M&M.
There is very little writing on this advert. The only writing is the letter on the sweets
being like the letter on the keyboard. This would persuade the audience to purchase
the product because it looks clever.
