Focus on the quick catalog search from the library homepage for simplicity Start with a keyword search Honors College wants us to stress aspects of the “research process” so talk about… Process of refining a search How one relevant item leads to another & another, etc. Different ways to approach a search Use an example from their readings: Frederick Douglas, Rosa Parks, Civil Rights Movement, etc. Example here shows Rosa Parks as a general keyword search.
Following catalog search-> discuss results page Title, call #, location, status, date Process of evaluating results Pick relevant title from results list as example to discuss further
