Objectives
• Explore and demonstrate the application of linked data principles for procuring
contracts in the public sector
• Enhance the market process of meeting supply and demand by avoiding the need
for manual integration, via leveraging the distributed linked data infrastructure
• Explore the possibilities for cross-fertilization between the LOD scenarios in public
sector and electronic commerce

Task 9a.1: „Creating linked data for PS contracts“ starting points
• Initial version of Public Contracts ontology; still needs:
• More complete alignment with TED structure
• Better documentation
• Review by a larger group
• Contacts to public contract announcement sources
• Convince companies implementing relevant web portals to produce RDF (discussions under way)

• Coverage must be increased
• Adherence to LOD2 Stack will be sought
