Class Number 1: ‘Little red riding hood and the wolf’
Objective: Check the comprehension of the story and its vocabulary.
Materials: Story book, flashcards and computers.
Introduction:
- The class will be arranged to the story. Students will sit down in a circle around the teacher.
- The teacher will show them the cover of the book and encourage them to make predictions
about the story they are about to hear.
Development:
- The teacher will read the story including gestures and body language
Practice:
- Students will be arranged in groups of 3 or 4 to work on a JQuiz activity about the story.
- The teacher will check orally the correct the answers with using flashcards.

-The teacher will give students finger puppets to cut out.

-We give the students a link with a video to watch at their houses about the beginnings of the
story of “the little mermaid” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhKESMmZJMs
-We discuss what they saw and what predictions can they make according to that background.
Development:
- The teacher will read the story including gestures and body language
Practice:
- Students will be arranged in groups of 3 or 4 to work on a JCloze activity about the story.
Class Number 4: ‘Cinderella’
Objective: Recall the story elements of the Cinderella story as well as the emotions
present.
Materials: Movie, Interactive whiteboard, projector and computers.

Introduction:
- The teacher will show the video of Cinderella to the class and will ask students as they
watch the video to search for the story elements of character, setting, problem, events,
solution and ending and also to pay attention to the emotions. After the movie the class
will be set around those topics.
Development:
-Students will be set in pairs and be asked to make a chart of large paper into six
squares. They will have to write the story elements in the six squares (characters,
setting, problem, events, solution and ending).

Class Number 5: ‘Cinderella’
Objective: Orally retell the story of Cinderella. Focus and later practice on adjectives that
refer to emotions.
Materials: Interactive whiteboard, projector and computers.
Introduction:
- Using the story elements as a reference made the earlier lesson, the students retell the
story of Cinderella with the eliciting action of the teacher, who makes yes/no questions
and choice questions. During this activity, we’ll use an interactive white board in order
to students to come to the front and complete the story elements chart altogether
(characters, setting, problem, events, solution and ending).

The teacher will brainstorm and discuss other vocabulary related to the characters that
is present in the story, adjectives such as pretty, unhappy, miserable, excited, happy,
beautiful, surprised and successful.
Practice:
The teacher will write the words students will have to include clarifying meaning while
writing them. Then students will work on the computer and with Hot Potatoes and the
JCloze, students will re-read the story and fill in the gaps. This activity will be done in
groups of 2 or three students.
After that and with the interactive whiteboard, the teacher and the students will correct
the activity using the JCloze itself.

PREPARATION & SETTING
- We give the students a link with a video to watch at their houses of the story of
“RUMPELSTINTSKIN” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvRLx5O8ZpM
- We discuss what they saw and what has called their attention the most, in class.
STORY
- The students listen to the story in class again to refresh their memories and to comment on it.
ACTIVITIES
- We ask them to complete a JCross activity on "Rumpelstiltskin" in groups of 3 or 4 . (To check
comprehension and vocabulary of the story)
- Together we check orally the correct the answers with the teacher, using a smartboard.
REVIEW
- We make a JMatch activity including all the stories mentioned in the unit altogether
with the help of the teacher.
