and Aruba: the impact of geography and history
on the emerging culture
• Discovering the ‘roots’ of Aruba by means of the
science of Archeology (excursion and guest
lecture)
• Human social nature and community

• Social trend 1: the emerging of new forms of
communities
• Culture and identity: with special focus on Aruba
• Social integration of Aruba (guest lecture)
• Social institutions: the family, religion and
