New Book Group
Sheila and Richard Every want to form a couples fiction book club.
An evening of light-hearted and good-natured discussion that will meet the third
Wednesday of every other month from 18:30-20:00.
Venue : Emsworth Methodist Church at 19 High St. Emsworth.
Transport : The bus stops directly in front at St. Peter's Square and there is a car
park around the corner.
Cost : Hall hire is 6.25 per hour and we can bring snacks (if we like) and
non-alcoholic drinks.
First book is "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand" by Helen Simonson published last
year and available at amazon for as little as .01! If you don't manage to finish the
book, come along and discuss what you've read.
The maximum number of members is 6 couples. If there is greater interest, we'll
rent a larger room!

Bognor Regis U3A are organising a weekend holiday to the bulb fields at
Keukenhof from Friday to Monday (12 – 15 April 2013).
Cost per person is £350 - £400 and single room supplements may apply.
Pick up points will be West Meads car park in Aldwick and Middleton Shrubs
Field car park (to be confirmed).
A deposit of £100 secures your place and this is required by 23 December.

The coach will leave Oaklands at 11:00 with time for lunch/stroll by the river/window shopping etc.
before the matinee performance at 2:30. We anticipate leaving the Theatre at approximately 5:30,
arriving back in Chichester around 6:30 - 6:45 pm.
