- The purpose of today’s meeting is not to cheerlead… or to frighten…. it is to inform & facilitate discussion. Ed Leader magazine….”Teaching Screenagers”. Article – “Good teaching trumps good tools.”
- -How many of you have one of these? -Take yours out if you would please (pause) You realize that in most of our schools if you were a student you would have just been written up! - Possibly - From our discussion – Ask people to hold up smartphones…Ask, “how many of us set here today, play games & be rude to the speaker or set here connected to our office, staying up-to-date, putting out fires & participating in a rich learning experience at the same time? Are our students any different?
