THERE ARE A LOT OF DIFFERENT WAYS OF MARKETING SPECTRE. HOWEVER THEY USE
MOSTLY SOCIAL MEDIA SUCH AS FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM OR TWITTER TO GET THE NEWS
OUT BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE HAVE A WAY TO ACCESS SOCIAL MEDIA WEB PAGES AND APPS.
IN THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR OMEGA WATCHES, THEY USE THE CHARACTER JAMES BOND TO
HELP BOOST POPULARITY FOR BOTH THE WATCH THAT IS BEING BANDED AND THE FILM
BECAUSE THEY'RE USING THE MAIN CHARACTER AS THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE
ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGN.
THERE IS ALSO A GAME ABOUT THE FIL ON THE INTERNET WHICH CAN ALSO GAIN
POPULARITY FOR THE FILM ALSO BY DOING THAT IT CAN ALSO BOOST THE AMMOUT OF BOX
SALES ON THE OPENING NIGHT BECAUSE OF HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT TO SEE IT.

who is responsible for the marketing of the film?
Sony is responsible for the production and marketing of Spectre. During the
making of the film they have also combined other Sony products and put them
into the film. For example, the mobile phone for Bond in Spectre was put out as
an advertisement to brand both Sony products and for people to know more
knowledge about the film. Sony also use bill boards and Adverts to make the
public know more bout the film which can increase the amount of box sales they
get during the time Spetre is in cinemas.

film? Who are they?
Belvedere, the worlds original luxury vodka, collabarated with Albert R Broccoli's
Eon productions, metro goldwyn yer studios and sony pictures entertainment to
promote spectre.
Belvedere’s Spectre marketing program included a global advertising
campaign and a wide range of promotion and activation rights around the
film. The marketing campaign was launched on February 2015, with a
strong focus of efforts in on premises establishment and retail stores
across multiple countries.
Belvedere vodka has world wide distribution and is marketed as the
worlds first super premium vodka so they have already been well
celebrated.
HOW DOES THE MARKETING COMPARE AGAINST SKYFALL? ARE THE CAMPAIGNS
SIMILAR OR DIFFERENT? WHY?
FOR THE SPECTER MARKETING, THEY ADVERTISED ON CLAPPERBOARDS AND
VIDEO BLOGS ON EONS.COM. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT SKYFALL DID TOO. THIS
MAKES THE TWO MOVIES SIMILAR BECAUSE IT SHOWS THAT THEY BOTH USED
THE SAME SOCIAL MEDIA SITE IN ORDER TO ADVERTISE
-HAVE THE FILM'S OWNERS SHARED PRODUCTION INFORMATION TO MARKET THE

HOW DO THEY TARGET SPECIFIC AUDIENCES?

WHAT 'EVENTS' EXIST TO PROMOTE THE FILM?
Marketing is, predominantly, aimed at people who
live in luxury or with a decent lifestyle. This is
conveyed by the use of marketing with the likes of
companies such as, Aston Martin.
They target specific audiences by using their brands
in the backgrounds of films and give
suggestions/hints of their brands. This is done to
convey their image.
This compares to marketing in other films in the way
that the two companies collaborate, also known as
co-branding. An example of this is the new Aston
Martin DB10 being designed especially for Spectre.
On October 16th, the world premiere event for
Spectre will be held in the Royal Albert Hall, where it
will be held as a charity event as a part of the CTBF
Royal Film Performance.
WILL SPECTRE BE AS SUCCESSFUL
AS SKYFALL?
After Skyfall's immense gross of over $1.1 billion worldwide,
Spectre now has a high standard to achieve and to try to
become bigger and better. They aim to become as successful
as Skyfall through their marketing and large, anticipated
reputation, of which Skyfall has left behind after its mass
success.
In conclusion, Spectre will be as successful as Skyfall. This is
due to a number of reasons such as, the
production/locations/marketing has grown to a standard in
which they intend to be "Skyfall times two" as mentioned by
one of the actors. This is because the narrative and all the
action is being emphasized more on Spectre after Skyfall's
record breaking numbers.

Belvedere’s Spectre marketing program included a global advertising campaign and a wide range of promotion and activation rights around the film. The marketing campaign was launched on February 2015, with a strong focus of efforts in on premises establishment and retail stores across multiple countries. Belvedere vodka has world wide distribution and is marketed as the worlds first super premium vodka so they have already been well celebrated.

Marketing is, predominantly, aimed at people who live in luxury or with a decent lifestyle. This is conveyed by the use of marketing with the likes of companies such as, Aston Martin. They target specific audiences by using their brands in the backgrounds of films and give suggestions/hints of their brands. This is done to convey their image. This compares to marketing in other films in the way that the two companies collaborate, also known as co-branding. An example of this is the new Aston Martin DB10 being designed especially for Spectre. On October 16th, the world premiere event for Spectre will be held in the Royal Albert Hall, where it will be held as a charity event as a part of the CTBF Royal Film Performance.
  • 6. WILL SPECTRE BE AS SUCCESSFUL AS SKYFALL? After Skyfall's immense gross of over $1.1 billion worldwide, Spectre now has a high standard to achieve and to try to become bigger and better. They aim to become as successful as Skyfall through their marketing and large, anticipated reputation, of which Skyfall has left behind after its mass success. In conclusion, Spectre will be as successful as Skyfall. This is due to a number of reasons such as, the production/locations/marketing has grown to a standard in which they intend to be "Skyfall times two" as mentioned by one of the actors. This is because the narrative and all the action is being emphasized more on Spectre after Skyfall's record breaking numbers.
