8. At the Vox Centre, we provide an alternative approach to mainstream education for young people who are at risk of exclusion or who are simply disillusioned with the normal academic route. The VoX offers an integrated approach to both literacy and work skills by combining the two and offering a learning experience which is fun.
9. The Vox Centre Construction Retail The trainees get to construct the entire VOX facility under the supervision of trained masters and get a feel of actual work environment. They also perform day to day maintenance tasks within the school. The trainees get to set up and manage a retail store that sells goods/raw materials required for training in other facilities. This gives a first hand experience in dealing with various kinds of customers and managing different kinds of retail – FMCG, Grocery, Tools and equipment, Stationary, etc. The trainees run and maintain the VOX restaurant within the facility that sells the food prepared by the Catering group, allowing the trainees to work in a live environment, dealing with customer demands. The Restaurant opens for all children and staff offering healthy & nutritious food. The trainees cook the meals (breakfast & lunch) for the staff and the students take part of VOX. This experience helps them learn the intricacies of cooking in volumes while keeping the taste and flavor alive. The food cooked by them is served/sold at the VOX restaurant managed by the Hospitality group. Hospitality Catering
