2. São Paulo overwhelms the senses with
its huge size. With over 10 million inhabi-
tants, it is the world's third largest city
and the largest in South America.
São Paulo have often been compared to
New York. It's attraction lies in its people
and its vibrant cultures. The Avenida
Paulista's canyon of upthrusting sky-
scrapers only hints at the city's sources
of energy. A more cosmopolitan city, São
Paulo possesses significant ethnic com-
munities, including substantial Japanese,
Italian, and Arab and Lebanese Christian
neighbourhoods.

7. The thing I most devel-
oped was my under-
standing of who I am,
a.k.a. self-awareness.
And I still need time
for self-reflection after
my exchange. “
“
I learned to adapt to
hard situations, for ex-
ample, dealing with
portuguese. Also, I got
to know people from
different social classes
and see the difference
of their lives in Brazil. “
“
It is a good way to im-
prove your relationship
and work skills because
you have to stay in con-
tact with a lot of differ-
ent cultures at the same
time trying to work
together as a team. “
