Listening to music or reading a book
are now generating data. Digital
music players and eBooks collect data
on our activities. Your smart phone
collects data on how you use it and
your web browser collects
information on what you are
searching for. Your credit card
company collects data on where you
shop and your shop collects data on
what you buy. It is hard to imagine
any activity that does not generate
data.

4. Big data challenges include capturing data, data
storage, data analysis, search, sharing, transfer, visualization,
querying, updating, information privacy and data source.
It is a terminology that explains large
quantity of data (structured, semi-
structured and unstructured) that
can be processed for valuable
information.

refer to big volume of data, but also
used to mean a refreshing way of
gathering, storing, organizing and
analyzing numerous types of data
whereas Cloud computing is the
technology for sharing computer
facilities instead of owning
personal resources or in-house
services to run programs. Cloud
computing is a term used to explain
the storing and access data and
applications through the internet.

analyze big data for
businesses of varying

preferences. Companies are keen to expand their traditional data sets with

a more complete picture of their customers.

 As of July 2018, Netflix has 130 million worldwide streaming subscribers.
Having this large user base allows Netflix to gather a tremendous amount
of data. With this data, Netflix can make better decisions and ultimately
make users happier with their service.
 The entire process is captured by the site and Amazon heavily uses
this data to run tests and refine the site for performance which benefits
customers and sellers on the platform.

'Big Data' is also a data but with a huge
size. 'Big Data' is a term used to
describe collection of data that is huge
in size and yet growing exponentially
with time.

 The amount of data we produce every day is truly mind-boggling.
There are 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created each day .
 Big data predicts future from data itself and find profitable information
and patterns for businesses. Data is growing exponential and for finding
valuable information and pattern big data will be use.
