2. The Goal:
The main goal is to further
decline and eventually
eliminate poverty worldwide.
Many countries around the
world experience extreme
poverty.
Poverty rates in developing
countries are declining but are
not where they need to be.

3. Resonation
• This resonates with me because I know
many people who have come from
underdeveloped countries and endured
many struggles.
• Food is deserved by every person, and I
feel that I have a responsibility to help
others who are unable to get food each day.
• It is easy to take food for granted, so I think
it is necessary to remind ourselves that not
everyone has a meal to eat every day.

4. How can I get
involved
locally?
• Luckily, all around there are food banks
and various donation centers that
specialize in helping in the fight against
poverty.
• Even a small donation can go a long way
and would be appreciated more than you
might ever understand.
• Donating canned foods or even an
amount of money would do wonders and
would help feed someone in need.

5. What am I able to
do personally?
• Since I have been very fortunate in my life, I
donate to organizations that help those who
are less fortunate. There are many
organizations striving to combat poverty that
could utilize your money efficiently.
• I also think it is necessary for me to spread
awareness of the issue as well as the goal
that we hope to achieve. Food is a necessity
that everyone should be able to have.

6. How can social
media help?
• Social media can help spread awareness to
a large amount of people around the world
very quickly.
• Social media is also a great outlet to
organize food drives and donations for
various groups that will aid the fight against
poverty.
• Social medias such as Youtube can also be
a great tool to educate yourself and others
on the issue at hand as well as the goal.
