• Social Awareness is the basic requirement of any society. Looking
towards the betterment of humanity as well as society there is a
periodic need to aware about several social phenomenons.
• We are living in such a busy society that it’s hard for a human being
to take out time for their friends and relatives, even sometimes for
family members.
• An NGO not only participate in making people aware about various
aspects of Society but also it contribute in joining people alongwith
a collective goal to achieve better humanity.
• As per the technological advancements we also need to improve
social culture to prevent it from drowning in the midst of darkness.
• As per the increasing number of various technocrats in the society
our environment gets rid of its belongingness

NO 9 18%
CANT SAY 7 14%
DATAANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION
•Do you think Social Awareness is important in Society?
•Yes
•No
•Can’t Say
INTERPRETATION:-
The finding of the research study shows that; more than half of the respondents i.e.
34 out of 50 (68 %) people feel that Social Awareness is very important in the
society. Approximate 18 % of the respondents indicate that it is not much
important whereas 14 %.are unable to say for or against.
OPINION NO. OF RESPONDENT PERCENTAGE
Yes 39 78 %
No 11 22 %
•Have you heard about SWARDO?
•Yes
•No
INTERPRETATION:-
It is good to get that about 78 % from total 50 respondents are
aware and familiar with SWARDO. They know SWARDO with
their works, whereas 22 % do not exactly have any idea what
SWARDO is.
 The various Policies and Procedures of SWARDO are very transparent and
simple to understand and execute.
 The formation of Policies or Procedures in SWARDO is also untidy and easy,
requires the majority of members.
 The Policies of SWARDO from a long are same.
 The Procedures for execution of any events or organising any program needs a
thorough approval of General Body mainly.
 For every programs or events a Team Incharge is nominated for looking after the
procedures going well or not.
FINDINGS:
 The procedures should more flexible.
 The policies should not be rigid with respect to time.
 They should be change to respect the change in technology with proper
intervals.
 Policies and Procedures need a go through so as to apply amendments.
SUGGESTIONS:
LIMITATIONS:
 The primary data of other national level NGO’s was
unable to collect.
 Secondary data of Deepalaya and Kshana are not
available in updated form so as to get a comparative
approach.
 The area for sample size is limited local regions of
Jabalpur Division only, Thus place was the biggest
restriction for study.
 Due to Time Constraints, I was not able to touch all
aspects of Social Awareness Programs of SWARDO.
 The policies and procedures of SWARDO are effective and
transparent upto the satisfaction level of employee.
 The dimensions which need more attention before making Policies
and Procedures are proper steps, flexibility of time, laws, rules and
regulations.
 Being a Non-Government Organisation, SWARDO has maintained
its Policies and Procedures in well furnished manner.
