4. Activity 1
comparing packing materials
A BWe compared
between white
foam and green
foam.
The white one
degraded
In water because it
is made of corn
starch and the
green one didn’t
degrade because it
is made of
polystyrene.
we tried to make a
good packaging for
eggs by using the
biodegradable and
non-biodegradable
Both of the plastic
bags that had the
eggs gave the
same protection.
7. ACTIVITY 4
MEASURING THE DEGRADATION RATES OF
BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS
Gelatin
Corn Starch Foam
Film
Gel
8. Design project
designing a medicine capsule
We added 2 ml of
Sodium Alginate
and 50 ml of
Calcium Chloride
to the beads
We isolated
beads
from the liquid
We colored the
beads
with a food
color
We putted the
beads in Sodium
Citrate
9. It’s a shoe with tow layers first one is a Bio
Plastic which maids of corn starch and potassium
and aluminum sulfate
10. *Healthy shoes
*We expected that making a healthy
shoes will help the people who has
many problems in the foot we tried
to read about the project we found
that sand is the best way to make a
natural massage for the foot .
