3. OBJECTIVE: To deliver a high tractive effort (or torque) at slow
speeds.
Tractors can be fitted with engineering tools such as dozer blades,
buckets, hoes, rippers, etc.

6. OBJECTIVE: To push large quantities of soil, sand, rubble, or any
other such material
A bulldozer is a crawler (continuous tracked tractor) equipped with
a substantial metal plate (known as a blade) and at the rear with a
claw-like device (known as a ripper) to loosen densely compacted
materials

8. OBJECTIVE: To remove scraps/dirt efficiently

9. OBJECTIVE: To create a flat surface during grading process

11. OBJECTIVE: For digging and loading earth or fragmented rock
and for mineral extraction

13. OBJECTIVE: To lift heavy units in a site and swing it to the
required area/position.

14. ABOUT: The clamshell bucket is a more sophisticated
articulated several-pieces device, including two
elementary buckets associated on a hinged structure
forming a claws-like appendage with an internal volume.

16. OBJECTIVE: To agitate land and move soil or similar matter from
the ground

17. ABOUT: A dredger is any device, machine, or vessel that is used
to excavate and remove material from the bottom of a body
of water. For example, a scoop attached to the end of a
rope or pole by which a man can draw sediments up from
the bottom of a pond is a dredger.

19. OBJECTIVE: To dig trenches, especially for laying pipes or cables, for
installing drainage, or in preparation for trench warfare

21. OBJECTIVE: To break-up rocky or hard earth surface, which otherwise
is unploughable

22. ABOUT: Also known as backhoe, is a piece of excavating equipment
or digger consisting of a digging bucket on the end of a two-
part articulated arm. They are typically mounted on the
