2.  Drugs are substances
that make you act
strange or silly. When
you take them, you may
not know what you are
doing.
 Depending on the drug,
your age, and the
amount you take, taking
drugs can have different
consequences.

3.  They cause hallucinations, depression, paranoid
tendencies, neurosis, etc.
 A drug addict may be unable to have relationships with
his/her relatives or friends.

4.  Marijuana: causes red
eyes, dry throat, strange
behaviour
 Cocaine: causes dilated
pupils, high blood pressure
and heart rate, or even
heart attack
 (Coca-cola used to have
cocaine)
 Burundanga or
scopolamine: causes
hallucinations, difficulty in
the production of saliva,

5.  Some drugs are used for medical purposes,
such as marijuana and morphine…

6.  Drug consumption is an important social phenomenon
that especially affects teenagers. Drug use and abuse
are too high in our present society.
 Teenagers, kids, and adults have to learn how to live
with the presence of drugs, making decisions about
consuming them or not.

7.  Drug consumption in teenagers affects their families and
friends.
 Risk prevention is essential to avoid risk factors; for
example, we should learn different ways to spend our
free time.
