Regirobo, invented by Panasonic and Lawson, basically does everything apart
from choosing the goods you want to buy. It automatically calculates the bill and
even bags the purchased goods.
Meet "Regi Robo" — short for register
robots — a new automated checkout

and was unveiled Monday by
Japanese electronics giant Panasonic.

These future technologies are in their beta phase and has some drawbacks
like:
• Amazon Go cannot serve more than 20 customers at the moment in the
store.
• Amazon Dash buttons are only for prime members.
• Panasonic smart baskets are still in the development process to work
with RFID tags but for now the customers are scanning each item and
placing it into the basket.
Concluding, everything revolves around the Physical and Digital world thereby, We
will see these emerging technologies in near future and it will bring a drastic
change to our lifestyle.
