5. BACKGROUND
In 2014, we launched PROJECT100 where we sourced more than 100 blankets, clothes and food
items which we gave out to the less privileged in Windsor and Tsietsi Palm ridge. The aim was to
ensure that basic needs for winter are provided for to the less fortunate.
As Ambassadors 4 change our mission is to keep children well throughout winter by providing
food and educational material. We also help provide blankets, jerseys, sweaters, hats, scarfs and
beanies. By so doing, we hope to empower the less privileged children within our community
and other communities with children in need. This is going to be achieved by working together
with the communities, churches, business and organisations in identifying the vulnerable and
orphaned children in their schools and communities.
We later on launched EYES 4 ALL where we did work with Brightstars Community Youth
Development [Palmridge] and Oasis Haven of Love facilitating eye test for the elderly and the
youth. The aim was to provide reading glasses to those that need them and cannot afford.
LEAD100 is volunteer training programs we gave to help the people we work with to establish
their dream career/jobs. We also help them establish small businesses within their communities
and this helps provide an extra income for many families.
