8. The Music of the Cordillera The highlands of Luzon dubbed as the
“Watershed Cradle of North Luzon” as it hosts major rivers that
provide continuous water irrigation and energy. According to
ethnomusicologists, these are musicians who study cultural and
social aspects of the people making music.
The indigenous peoples of Cordillera preserves and transmitted
their musical cultures and traditions from generation to generation
through oral traditions.
