Digital storytelling uses multimedia like video, audio, photos and slides to tell a story from one point of view in 2-10 minutes. It can benefit both teachers and students in education. For students, it engages them through interactive learning, improves achievement, and increases motivation, confidence, and life-long technology skills. For teachers, it helps explain content and engage students in 21st century skills. Evaluation shows digital storytelling improves short and long-term student goals while engaging them in learning, so it should be included across grade levels and content areas.
