4. OBJECT PRONOUNS
Use the subject pronouns (I, he, they, etc.) as the subject of a
verb. The subject does the action.
Ling is from China. She likes Chinese rice.
Use the object pronouns (me, him, them, etc.) as the object
of the verb. The object receives the action.
Ling is my friend. I see her every day.
We also use object pronouns after prepositions.
You never listen to me. NOT You never listen to I.
She isn’t in love with him. NOT She isn’t in love with he.
