You’re my mother. I love you.
He was at the gym. I talked to him.
She never listens. Don’t talk to her.
It’s a great movie. I watched it last night
We are movie stars. Everyone love us.
They’re good books. Why don’t you read them ?
OBJECT PRONOUNS
 Use the subject pronouns (I, he, they, etc.) as the subject of a
verb. The subject does the action.
Ling is from China. She likes Chinese rice.
 Use the object pronouns (me, him, them, etc.) as the object
of the verb. The object receives the action.
Ling is my friend. I see her every day.
 We also use object pronouns after prepositions.
You never listen to me. NOT You never listen to I.
She isn’t in love with him. NOT She isn’t in love with he.
EXERCISES
Complete the sentences with an object pronoun:
1. He’s in love with ____, but she doesn’t love _____.
2. It’s a good movie. Do you want to see _____ ?
3. You speak very quickly. I can’t understand _____.
